To ensure smooth and safe operations and movement, port areas are governed by the port regulations, the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) and the general instructions of the port. The companies operating in the port also provide some instructions.

The environmental permits of the Port of Loviisa are adhered to by all parties operating in the port area.
